FACTS & PREDICTIONS

I said yesterday, that FSU would win by 11 or more.

I also said that BAYLOR & TCU wouldn’t go UNDEFEATED.

I also said that Ole Miss wasn’t that good or a TOP 3 team.

I also said that Bama would CRUSH LSU and Fournette WOULD NOT get a 100yds.

I also said that as LONG as Da U had GOLDEN and his NON-COACHING staff intact that this would be one of the WORST football seasons in our MIAMI HURRICANES HISTORY.

I also said that EVERY TEAM in the state of FLORIDA would LOSE at least 2 games. DON’T WORRY GAYTOR fans , y’all WILL NOT beat FSU, so that will be ur 2nd LOSS.

AND in the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP game, FLORIDA will get CRUSHED by BAMA by at least 14 points or MORE, a LOT MORE. The ONLY CHANCE that FLORIDA has of WINNING that game is if BAMA don’t SHOW UP TO THE STADIUM…………….

FAMILY FEUD

A country family goes on the FAMILY FEUD. So it was one of the son’s turn to answer a question. The host asks him, Name a state with the word NEW in it? He hit that bell. He scratched his head, paused for a minute and LOOKED ROUND, turned, and said wit’ a STRAIGHT FACE,  NUuuuubraska…….. The rest of the country family said , GOOD ANSWER……..as they jumped up and down.

Watch Out now

Lady takes her infant child to the ER. When she gets there, she explains the emergency to the Dr. and tells him the baby swallowed a bullet by accident. The Dr. reaches onto his shelf and gives the lady a bottle of Cod Liver Oil and tells her not to aim him at nobody…….

A dad buys a brand new car and drives it home. His 17 yr old son, who had a driver license, was admiring the car. He asks his dad, when can he drive his dates out in the car? His dad replies, when he can take the F out of way. The son says, Ain’t no F in way. The dad says, that’s riiiiiiight…………………..

We Remain with God

“Separation is painful only to those who believe it can occur in truth. What would a child’s rejection or a parent’s death mean to those who did not believe in separation? Do you believe that God believes in separation? He knows it not, and because He knows it not, it does not exist. Because He knows it not, He has not been hurt by it. He knows no rejection and no death. He knows no pain or sorrow. His son remains with him in his eternal home, joined with him as always in eternal completion.” (C:12.23)

We remain with God, even in this sometimes difficult world. He does not countenance separation from Him, something that He knows (and we now know) is impossible, for we are part of Him. When this passage says that God “knows” not separation, I think it means that He doesn’t put any store by it, not that He doesn’t know of our plight. (There are differing opinions among A Course in Miracles students/teachers about whether or not God knows of our plight in illusion.)

We are here today, merged with God. Our Self is coming into its own, and it is this Self Who is One with God.

Let us relax today in God’s care. He will never leave us nor forsake us. We are safe.

We can trust Him.

Proverbs 26:16

The SLUGGARD is wiser in his own CONCEIT than SEVEN men that can render a REASON..

This scripture tells u all about LAZY PEOPLE. GOD calls them SLUGGARDS and HE’s telling u how they OPERATE. LAZY PEOPLE would rather give u a MOUTH FULL of EXCUSES, than to do any type of WORK bcuz they figure they are being SMARTER than u. The minute u give them something to do is the EXACT MINUTE they figure out an EXCUSE to NOT DO IT and then when u ask them about it, IT AIN’T NEVER THEIR FAULT!!! GOD doesn’t even waste time calling SLUGGARDS bcuz HE says they will not do HIS work. So if u have LAZY KIDS or a LAZY KID break them out of that HABIT right now and DON’T HESITATE to give them the rod across their back. BCUZ just as sure as the sun ROSE this morning, LAZY PPL are not going to work TODAY, TOMORROW, or FOREVER if they can get away with it. So if u’re a PARENT of a LAZY CHILD, unless GOD changes their ways, DON’T EXPECT this child to do ANYTHING or become ANYONE bcuz they ALREADY is, what they’re going to become, NOTHING!!!!

Another scripture tells us, the SLUGGARD is a DISHONOR to his father and a SHAME to the mother that had him…………

Watz Da Problem?

What’s the REASON Treon Harris is NOT starting over WILL GRIER? Treon, to me, looked pretty good yesterday. So what has he done to warrant NOT STARTING? He throwed for 232yds 2TDs and NO INTERCEPTIONS. so help me UNDERSTAND the problem. I’m trying HARD not to say what I really WANNA SAY. But that SEEMS to be the ONLY fair conclusion……..

LSU’s winning recipe includes more than Leonard Fournette

11 37LINKEDIN 1COMMENTMORE

BATON ROUGE — The English language does not have enough words to describe the breathtaking talent that is Leonard Fournette.

He’s explosive, bursting through holes that swallow some of the sport’s best running backs. He’s relentless, as evidenced by his career-high 31 carries for 180 yards and two scores against Florida on Saturday night. And he’s not afraid to get a little physical, throwing a punch or shove or whatever that was, instead of a stiff-arm, late in LSU’s 35-28 win against the Gators.

Fournette is many things, which means the Tigers’ offense is many things; but those many things all tend to involve Fournette. Their rushing attack is terrific, third best in the country. Their offensive line is hailed as one of the nation’s best. And so their quarterback has been deemed a handoff specialist — at least, according to him. But that’s no longer the case, if it ever even was.

Brandon Harris, the LSU sophomore, got worked up late Saturday night as he described the criticism levied against him and the LSU passing game. This narrative, Harris said, began with LSU’s sloppy win against Eastern Michigan earlier this month. He completed just four of 14 passes for 80 yards in that one.

“I can’t stand it,” Harris said Saturday night, after he was 13-of-19 for 202 yards and two touchdowns. “I can’t stand it. I play with a chip on my shoulder every single week. I say this over and over again, and I say this real humbly: This team knows how talented we are passing the ball; everybody knows what I can do throwing the football. …

“It really hurts when people say all we have is a running game, this and that. That’s so much motivation. Keep saying that. Keep doubting me. I love it.”

Harris said he knows opponents will try whatever they can to stop Fournette, theHeisman Trophy favorite, and that makes perfect sense to him. “They’ll put nine in the box,” Harris said. “I’ll say, ‘Thank you,’ and take advantage of it.”

LSU coach Les Miles chuckled when he heard Harris’s comments. Particularly the idea that Harris has something to prove to anyone.

“Everything we ask him to do, he does extremely well,” Miles told USA TODAY Sports. “There’s going to be days where he’ll throw for 400 yards, and there will be days he throws for 70. It’s really pick your poison (with the passing or run game). I would hope he doesn’t have a chip on his shoulder. … If he has a chip, it’s probably just because he wants to make everybody know he can throw. Everybody will find out soon enough.

“He probably wants to define who he is by throwing the football, running the offense and being the quarterback he knows he can be. Should he do that, he’ll have one of the more successful careers in college football.”

Or one of the more successful quarterback performances this season, if this keeps up. It’s important to Harris to show that this offense is multi-faceted, and it’s important to Fournette, too. A strong passing game opens up lanes for Fournette; a supremely talented tailback opens up a plethora of play-action passing opportunities.

Harris wasn’t just solid against Florida on Saturday — he was terrific, particularly in the first half and especially when Tigers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron called for a flea-flicker. Harris handed the ball off to Fournette, who attracted his fair share of Florida defenders before pitching the ball back to Harris. Harris lofted a deep ball to Malachi Dupre, a 52-yard play.

Showcasing some sort of a passing game proved crucial against the Gators, who boast the best defense LSU has seen yet this season. (And the 13th-best rushing defense in the nation, entering Saturday.) It’s a critical piece moving forward, too, so future foes have to prepare for it instead of attempting new ways to have 11 defenders attack one ballcarrier.

It’s important, too, for Fournette. He said that Florida’s defense was the most physical one he’d faced yet this year. He described defenders grabbing him, pushing him, prodding him. “We were going pound-for-pound every single play,” he said. It’s a corollary to that old adage: If you can’t beat him, beat him down.

Though Fournette seems indestructible now, it’s better not to test that theory out. It’s best just to develop a passing game to take pressure off him, and his body. Throw in a trick play or two — the Mad Hatter was at it again, with a fake field goal that turned into the kicker, Trent Domingue, running the ball in for a score — and LSU has a winning formula.

It’s gotten the Tigers to 6-0, and it can take them a lot farther, too. With Harris throwing the ball like he did Saturday and Fournette doing things only he is capable of, this LSU team might very well have what it takes to put together a special season.

“Really special,” Miles corrected. “Really special.”

SIMPLY UNBELIEVABLE

Rutgers uses incredible rally to shock Indiana 55-52

1LINKEDINCOMMENTMORE

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — When things looked bleak Saturday, Rutgers just kept punching.

Eventually, the swings started landing.

The Scarlet Knights erased a 25-point third-quarter deficit by converting three fourth-quarter turnovers into touchdowns and Kyle Federico delivered the knockout blow — a 26-yard field as time expired — for an incredible 55-52 victory at Indiana.

But the record-tying comeback was only part of a wild and crazy day that could have been much easier for Rutgers if Federico could have avoided having two extra points blocked.

With 5:25 left in the third quarter, Indiana (4-3, 0-3) looked like it would coast to the victory after scoring its fourth straight touchdown of the second half to take a 52-27 lead.

Instead, the Hoosiers botched the snap on a rare punt, Kemoko Turay scooped it up and scored on a 26-yard return — giving Rutgers (3-3, 1-2) the momentum it needed for the finishing flurry.

The final numbers resembled something from a video game.

Chris Laviano led Rutgers by going 28 of 42 for a career-high 386 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. Leonte Carroo caught seven passes for a career-high 157 yards and three scores before leaving in the second half with an injured right foot or leg, and Robert Martin ran 17 times for 124 yards and three scores — the last two also career bests.

The 25-point comeback tied a school record that was set last November in a 41-38 win at Maryland.

Indiana piled up some big numbers, too.

Nate Sudfeld returned from an injured left ankle and went 32 of 42, threw for 464 yards — the second-highest single-game total in school history — and four TDs.

Devine Redding ran for two touchdowns and finished with a career best 93 yards. Mike Majette finished with 83 yards rushing, another career high.

The Hoosiers also had three 100-yard receivers — Mitchell Paige (126), Ricky Jones (119) and Simmie Cobbs Jr. (107).

And it still wasn’t enough.

After Redding’s 66-yard TD run made it 52-27, Carroo caught a 43-yard TD pass from Laviano.

Turay’s return 10 seconds into the fourth quarter cut the deficit to 52-39.

Martin then scored on a 3-yard TD run to make it 52-46, and Paul James tied it at 52 on a 40-yard TD run with 6:29 left. But the extra point was blocked.

Indiana punted on its next series and Laviano drove the Scarlet Knights 59 yards for the winning kick.

Kaaya throws for 296 yards help Miami beat Va. Tech 30-20

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Brad Kaaya threw for 296 yards and led a 75-yard touchdown drive in the final minutes to help the Miami Hurricanes beat Virginia Tech 30-20 Saturday.

Kaaya also took the Hurricanes 89 yards in the final 42 seconds of the first half for the touchdown that put them ahead to stay.

Miami’s defense, which has struggled for much of the season, forced four turnovers and had three sacks. The Hurricanes allowed 160 yards rushing, but Tech’s Brenden Motley threw two interceptions and lost a fumble, which led to 10 Miami points.

The Hurricanes (4-2, 1-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) bounced back from a loss a week earlier at Florida State and beat Virginia Tech (3-4, 1-2) for the second year in a row.

No. 13 Ole Miss collapses in 37-24 loss to Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Mississippi looked like one of the nation’s best teams less than a month ago.

That’s not the case anymore. Not by a longshot.

Memphis stunned No. 13 Ole Miss 37-24 on Saturday, scoring 31 unanswered points against an overmatched Rebels defense. Paxton Lynch threw for 384 yards and three touchdowns as the Tigers’ offense sliced through the Ole Miss secondary with ease.

Ole Miss (5-2) has lost two of its last three games.

“There’s something missing for sure and that’s my responsibility,” Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze said.

Memphis (6-0) has won 13 straight games dating back to last season, which is the third longest streak in the nation. It was the first win for the Tigers over a ranked opponent since 1996.

“You’ve got to give all the credit to Memphis,” Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly said. “They played hard. They played to the whistle and knew what they were doing.”

Ole Miss jumped out to a 14-0 lead less than six minutes into the game — partly thanks to a 68-yard touchdown pass by receiver Laquon Treadwell on a trick play — but Memphis responded with 31 unanswered points to take a 31-14 lead early in the third quarter.

“We got down early and there were a couple of long faces on the sideline, but we knew we had to keep plugging away,” Lynch said. “We knew early in the game we were moving the ball on them.”

The rankings may say this game was an upset, but the Tigers didn’t appear overmatched.

The Rebels were able to pull within 31-24 later in the third quarter, but could get no closer. Treadwell caught a school-record 14 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown.

The 6-foot-7, 245-pound Lynch was superb, doing whatever he wanted against the Rebels’ secondary. He completed 39 of 53 passes, helping the Tigers regroup following the rough start.

It helped that he had plenty of time to throw. When the game was over, jubilant fans poured onto the field to celebrate. Security guarded the goal posts and fans took selfies with players.

Lynch — who else? — was the main attraction.

“I got hit harder in that (postgame) pile than I did the whole game with all those fans smacking me on top of the head,” Lynch said.

Anthony Miller was Lynch’s favorite target, catching 10 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown.

Memphis coach Justin Fuente was pleased with the way his team responded to the early adversity.

“Invariably when you’ve got a young, inexperienced team, they get out there and try to do more than they’re supposed to,” Fuente said. “They settled down and made some plays.”

Kelly completed 33 of 47 passes for 372 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Rebels had some good moments, but a disastrous second quarter proved too much to overcome.

It was an implosion accelerated by two questionable coaching calls.

The first was when Robert Nkemdiche, one of the team’s best defensive players, was injured while running the ball in a short-yardage situation. The team said the 6-foot-5, 296-pounder suffered a concussion and he didn’t return.

The second decision was even more stunning. Freeze opted to stay with his offense on fourth-and-1 even though Ole Miss was at its own 34. Kelly didn’t come close to converting on the run, Memphis took over and scored a touchdown seven plays later to take a 24-14 lead going into halftime.

Memphis pushed its lead to 31-14 in the third quarter before Ole Miss finally righted itself, responding with 10 straight points. But it was too little too late.

Jake Elliott kicked a crucial 42-yard field goal with 9:44 left remaining that gave Memphis a 34-24 lead and halted the Rebels’ momentum. The Tigers later used a clock-chewing drive that lasted more than seven minutes and resulted in another field goal to finish off the victory.

After that, it was time to celebrate for Memphis, which earned arguably its biggest win since beating No. 6 Tennessee 21-17 in 1996. Usually known as a basketball school, the game drew 60,241 fans, which was the most for the Liberty Bowl since 2006.

So far this year there have been 3 games in which a team LOST a game when it was UP BY 10 in the 4th QT. TENNESSEE has LOST 2 of them. MINDBOGGLING! Which brings us to the NEXT coach on this list.

MARITAL ADVICE

WELL, WELL, WELL. It seems like I’ve gotten a lil’ too REAL on a response I made to a POST yesterday about SLEEPING AROUND. If U think it was too REAL for u, then my ADVICE to U is ONLY DROP UR DRAWERS FOR UR SPOUSE!!! Don’t get MAD at me bcuz GOD outed u. Didn’t I just tell u the day BEFORE, that there is NO SECRETS GOD won’t make known? Now if u know u’ve TRANSGRESSED then what u NEED to do is, 1.GET SAVED as soon as POSSIBLE bcuz if GOD took u RIGHT NOW u’re going to HELL, make no mistake about that. 2.ONCE u get SAVED then GOD FORGIVES u, but then for TOTAL FORGIVENESS, u have to ask ur SPOUSE to forgive u. Yea, that same PERSON u did DIRT too, now u gotta LOOK them in the FACE and tell them u’re a WHOREMONGER. Now the person u’re CHEATING WITH or done CHEATED WITH ain’t nowhere to be found. That shows u how much THEY CARE. Now u REALIZE that u don’t have NOTHING but a DEFILED sexual organ (penis or vagina). GOD protects the SPOUSE (especially if they’re SAVED) by making the FILTHY ONE lose their SEXUAL DESIRE for them ( AMEN FOR THAT) and I BET the PERSON who CHEATING, thinks it’s their IDEA not have SEX wit’ u, WRONG!!! (IT’s GOD’s IDEA bcuz HE is PROTECTING them from ur NASTY BUTT) the CHEATERS always think they’ve found someone BETTER when ALL they really have is NOTHING!!! LUST ( bcuz that’s ALL IT WAS when u got MARRIED, LUST NOT LOVE) don’t last but a FLEETING SECOND ( why u think u CHEATED in the 1st place) and when it’s done, DEATH and DESTRUCTION..Usually the DEATH and DESTRUCTION of ur MARRIAGE…But remember WHOREMONGER that’s what u wanted the INSTANT u DROPPED ur FILTHY UNDERWEAR!!! and The GOD I so LOVELY SERVE will make SURE that’s what u GET!!!! Now the WHOREMONGER realizes all they were was NOTHING but ANOTHER number in somebody else’s SEXUAL ROTATION and now they’ve LOST EVERYTHING! What a PRICE to PAY for DESECRATING GOD’s MARRIAGE VOWS……………but EVERYDAY u have JACKA$$E$ willing to PAY THAT PRICE………..

MORNING PRAYER

Our FATHER, I wanna pray this today for those who would like to pray to You but don’t know how. I wanna pray for those who have been less fortunate than I. I wanna pray a special prayer for the poor and the needy. I wanna pray for those who are misunderstood. FATHER You said the poor, the needy, and the little ones are CLOSEST to Your HEART, and I , being the BELIEVER that I am, know that these PRAYERS are reaching Your HEART. I am being an INTERCESSOR for ALL of these CHILDREN OF YOURS who have been ROBBED by satan. I PRAY that YOU break the POVERTY chains from around their FEET. LOOSEN the shackles that BINDS them in DARKNESS. POVERTY is NOT of HEAVEN, so ABOLISH it to the pits of HELL where it belongs. In the MIGHTY name of JESUS, Amen…..

Do something for OTHERS besides YOURSELF…………

MORNING PRAYER

Our FATHER, who can I help today other than myself? Who can I be of a WORD of ENCOURAGEMENT too? Our FATHER continue BLESSING ME , so I can continue BLESSING others. Continue to place my FEET in a place where your WORD is welcomed by LOST SOULS who wanna CHANGE. Continue giving me a HEART that will help the POOR and NEEDY bcuz those are the ones who NEED the help the MOST. Let Your ANGELS continue straightening my PATHS, so that my FEET are NEVER in the WRONG PLACE at the WRONG TIME……In the MIGHTY name of JESUS CHRIST, Amen..

NEEDS

ALL I NEED in this WORLD is GOD, JESUS CHRIST, and The HOLY SPIRIT. I NEED GOD to supply me SUFFICIENCY in all things , for me to WORSHIP, and to put the RIGHT PERSONS and RIGHT IDEAS in my life at the RIGHT TIME and in the RIGHT WAY. I NEED JESUS CHRIST to SAVE my soul, to PROTECT me from my own FLESH, and to give me the STRENGTH to do all things. I NEED The HOLY SPIRIT to be my COMFORTER and my GUIDE and to give the WORD to the ANGELS to set my CROOKED PATHS straight. Between THEM ALL they will SUPPLY all my NEEDS. NOW if u DON’T see ur NAME, then u SHOULD be able to figure that out and if u CAN’T, then u’re not as SMART as u think u are………………………….

NFL

The BRONCOS defeated the PANTHERS in the SB yesterday 24-10 in what can only be described some of the most pathetic football in Sup[er Bowl history. It was a game of miscues and mistakes and most were committed by the PANTHERS, that’s why they’re 17-2 now and NOBODY will remember their season but the ppl of CAROLINA. Just like nobody remembers the PATRIOTS went 18-1, but they remember the Super Bowl LOSS to the GIANTS that year. My POINT, nobody remembers 2nd place. That LOSS revealed some things about the PANTHERS, 1. They DEFINITELY need a new OC, one with IMAGINATION. How can u go thru an ENTIRE GAME and only throw the ball on 1st down when u have to? When everybody in the building knows u gotta throw. IDIOT didn’t call one SCREEN PASS to the RBs ALL GAME. 2. They need a LEFT and RIGHT TACKLE bcuz DENVER’s edge rushers lived in CAROLINA’s backfield the whole game. Those 2 tackles WHIFFED more than ppl playin’ WHIFFLE BALL. I know NEITHER one of them can dance bcuz they DIDN’t move their feet all night. 3.They need BETTER WRs. WRs who can actually separate from DBs. I know they was without KELVIN BENJAMIN, but they was without KB all season, so that’s NO EXCUSE. TED GINN JR still doesn’t know how to CATCH. JERICHO COTCHERY dropped passes that hit him right in the HANDS. DENVER knew all they had was GREG OLSEN and they doubled him like good teams supposed too. Did the better team win? The one that was BETTER yesterday did…….

NBA

I said this last summer and my homies told me I was wrong. Well I wonder how they FEEL after watchin’ the HEAT play today? First, I wouldn’t NEVER have given D Wade $20 mil for one season, that was a DEFINITE waste of money, forget LOYALTY. He wanted LeBron in MIAMI bcuz he wanted a Championship too. So he would’ve had to ACCEPT what came along wit’ that. PAT RILEY should’ve taken that money and given some to HASSAN WHITESIDE bcuz he’s an UNRESTRICTED FA this summer. Secondly, I would’ve thought about lettin’ CHRIS BOSH go too, if he WOULDN’T take a PAY CUT. Look at the CONDITION the HEAT are in TODAY. They look PITIFUL!!

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

I told ppl this was gonna happen as soon as we HIRED MARK RICHT as our football coach. That teams were NO LONGER going to be able to come into DADE COUNTY and pluck the BEST PLAYERS. That’s sumthin’ LARRY COKER, RANDY SHANNON, and especially AL GOLDEN didn’t seem to grasp that concept and that is why they’re ALL FORMER COACHES of the Univ. of MIAMI. This is also the REASON why GATOR fans should be concerned. Last year UF was way BEHIND on in-state talent just like again this year. McIllwaine gets NO PASS this year bcuz he HIRED 2 coaches SPECIFICALLY for that job in RANDY SHANNON and KERRY DIXON and they BOTH FAILED miserably bcuz UF only signed 4, that’s right 4, players that were in the state’s TOP 50. That’s PITIFUL, especially since FLORIDA is supposed to be the state’s FLAGSHIP UNIVERSITY. FSU signed 8 and MIAMI signed 10. Last year FSU signed 9 and MIAMI 8. I’ma say it AGAIN, I would rather sign a 3star kid from S. FLA than a 5star kid from IOWA, IDAHO, NEBRASKA, or any of them other BOGUS states who pretend to play HS football. And u know what I’m glad RICHT didn’t sign, one of them GARBAGE HS players from PENNSYLVANIA who GOLDEN seemed to be so fond of. Next year it’s going to be even WORSE for UF bcuz RICHT has  gotten VERBAL COMMITMENTS from 12 of S. FLA best players for next year already. The man knows what it takes to win. U BETTER have some players from S. FLA on ur roster and NOT just any players, but some of the BEST S. FLA players.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

LES MILES has struck again too. The LSU ALUMNI tried to run him outta town, but the SMARTER head prevailed, which was the A.D. The QUESTION that I have for the DUMB *** BOOSTERS was who were u going to HIRE if u let MILES go? U weren’t going to HIRE NOBODY who was better than MILES, that’s for sure. So what bcuz he CAN’T BEAT Nick Saban every year, NOBODY can. But LES surely went a long way to even the playing field today. By signing the #1 recruiting class today, 13 ESPN Top 300 he sure just gained a LOT of ground on ol’ NICK SABAN……
